Decoder detection

Decoders should be recognized as easily as possible.

This data is necessary for this:

  • Manufacturer
  • Decoder ID
  • Firmware version

Unfortunately, with many manufacturers it is not possible to recognize the decoder, as a decoder ID is often missing. If the relevant CVs are missing from the decoder, we would be pleased if everyone could write to the relevant manufacturer and request the CVs.
